The 3M Red Dot ™ 2259 electrode is disposable, circular in shape with a centered button.

It has the following features:

foam support: Guarantees good conformability to the patient's body and complete impermeability to liquids. The low thickness of the electrode allows to minimize interference with the surrounding environment.

solid gel: It allows to keep the quality of the tracing high and constant, without using metal rings that can damage the patient's skin. The solid formulation prevents the quick drying of the gel and avoids contact between the gel and the adhesive, which could compromise the performance of the latter; it allows to keep the trace even after tractions exerted on the cable and leaves no residue after removal.

abrasive pad: Several studies have shown that the preparation of the skin before
the application of the electrode by "scrubbing" to remove dead cells and the layer of skin oil reduces the contact impedance and improves the quality of the tracing. The abrasive pad on the 3M Red Dot ™ 2259 electrodes allows for excellent skin preparation without the aid of alcohol or ether which, by dehydrating the skin, increase its impedance.

high quality adhesive: It is highly hypoallergenic, minimizes skin irritation and
leaves no residue after removal. Furthermore, the initial adhesiveness grows linearly over time, ensuring perfect fixing of the electrode for the entire duration of its use.

protective capsule: It maintains the conductive properties of the gel unaltered and prevents it from drying even after one month from opening the bag. The product does not contain rubber latex or natural rubber.
