But even in this specific market segment NISSEI wanted to make a difference by creating a device, DS-11, which still stands out not only for the Quality deriving from the Japanese Project and Technology, but also for the functions and accessories supplied, characteristic of the TOP products on the market, and exceptionally also used on this device.

Thanks to the use of the most innovative and comfortable inflation measurement technology, motion detection functions during measurement, arrhythmia detection, average of the last three measurements, but also important accessories such as the oversized cuff for use on diameters from 22 to 42cm, DS-11 is a BASIC range device for commercial positioning only, but in fact, with functional and accessory features typical of higher product ranges.

Completely automatic in the measurement and recording of results, it has an extremely intuitive and essential user interface, so as to be able to independently measure blood pressure in a simple and comfortable way, with a consequent improvement in the reliability of the data, detected by the device through the oscillometric method.

The inflation technology of the device works by inflating the cuff to a value just sufficient to detect blood pressure and heart rate, thus identifying the Diastolic pressure value first, then continues with a gradual inflation until the Systolic pressure value is identified, immediately then it ends the inflation and quickly starts the deflation of the cuff.

With this system, the measurement is extremely "comfortable", so much so that the procedure is completed before the patient has time to perceive the inflation of the cuff as "constricting".

The oversized cuff makes the product immediately usable on a wide dimensional range of the measuring arm, thus avoiding the purchase of an additional accessory by a good number of patients with an "important" arm size.

As already mentioned, the recording in memory of the data detected by the device is automatic (up to max 60 measurements) as well as the calculation of the average value of the last 3 measurements in the memory.

DS-11 as well as all NISSEI devices distributed by CA-MI boasts the Clinical Validation of Accuracy ESH
in accordance with the most recent international protocol 2010.
