GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS -

• The new double color quick test for Strep A uses color particles marked with antibodies coated in two separate locations on the test device.
• This new optical immunoassay technology allows greater sensitivity and less false negative results than the conventional single label test, without affecting specificity.
• The procedure for the user is the same as for the standard test, but the result will be easier to see. If the A Streptococcus group is present in the sample, a blue test line appears to indicate a positive result and a red control line will also appear to indicate that the test is valid.
• The kit includes 50 reactive strips, 50 tubes, 50 hisopos, 2 reagents and 2 control solutions.
