The XT series has a handheld, compact design that is easy to carry. Despite its compact shape, it guarantees the same effectiveness as larger machines. Packed with useful features such as easy-to-adjust ramp settings, automatic altitude adjustment, compensation loss and SD card data collection (LTK305-310 only). Enhanced pressure stability and clinically proven algorithm make the new XT series even more comfortable with the introduction of the PVA maximum pressure function.
What is OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea)
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a condition in which intermittent and repetitive obstruction of the upper respiratory tract leads to a complete (apnea) or partial (hypopnea) arrest of the breathing air flow during the sleep. The syndrome varies according to the level of relaxation of the tongue and the palatine veil muscle. The most common treatment for OSA is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). CPAP devices can provide constant air pressure in the upper airway through a nose mask. This constant air pressure can keep the airway open during sleep, thus avoiding OSA.
This device is a microprocessor controlled constant positive airway pressure device. It features an illuminated LCD display, with menus, universal power supply and ramp time adjustment. Ramp time adjustment and ultra-quiet operation allow the user to fall asleep comfortably while the air pressure slowly reaches the proper level for treatment. The user's compliance meter records the total operating time of the system as a reference for the clinician.
WARNING! Some operating parameters are set according to common therapeutic needs. It is recommended that the variation be evaluated only by competent technical or medical personnel.
